For over 25 years, the Opéra de Montréal has been at the centre of Montreal cultural life. And the Opéra continues to be involved in an ongoing effort to enrich its community’s quality of life and educational and cultural environment.
The many activities and projects in our awareness and education programmes serve to:
- Contribute to the discovery or the deeper knowledge of opera as an art form;
- Provide the Opéra de Montréal, educators, and adult audiences with educational means to increase awareness of opera among younger audiences;
- Actively and positively contribute to the lives of the citizens of Montreal.
